Want to plan your holiday to the snow, don’t worry I will tell you about a place which is considered best place to visit during snow fall. Winters are the season when sun appears at noon at its lowest altitude above the horizon.  Many festivals took place during this year like Diwali, Christmas, New Year and Valentine’s Day. Winter season starts in India (Himachal Pradesh) from the month of November to February. 

Shimla which is capital of Himachal Pradesh was also the capital of British period (during British rule) is surrounded by snow covered mountains from all around. On the occasion of Christmas tourist and residents expect snow fall in Shimla every year. Inflation is no bar in this regard as various Hotels are providing discount schemes to its tourists in the season of winter.


Himachal Pradesh is spread over an area 55673 km2 and bordered by Jammu and Kashmir form north, Punjab from Southwest, Haryana on South, Uttarakhand on the southeast and Tibet form the east. Himachal is reach in natural resources. Himachal is 450 meter to 6500 meter above from sea level.


There are lots of activities which are organised in winter season like skiing, ice skating and many more. Tourist destinations of Hills are most favored places in the days of winters. Here in Himachal Pradesh many tourist places face snowfall. Places like Kullu, Manali, Narkanda, Shimla, Kufri, Kinnaur and Spiti are most preferred by tourists.


One can reach Shimla by bus and train and can enjoy the natural beauty of this beautiful place in this earth. It should be kept in mind that it is not easy to drive and walk on the snow. So, one must be fully prepared to tackle such kind of incidents which can cause harm.
